My roommate is very sick with a bad cold, I have a very LOW immune system and they still put here in our room together! Not happy! I would Never recommend this place do to this!

Skylake Post Acute has truly been the best placement for my mom, and our family is so grateful for the care she receives. She feels safe, supported, and emotionally at ease, and we’ve seen real improvements in her comfort and stability. The nurses and staff are consistently kind, attentive, and patient. Their professionalism and genuine care make a noticeable difference in my mom’s day‑to‑day well‑being. The office team has also been wonderful—efficient, responsive, and clearly invested in her care. A special thank‑you to Rosemary, who works directly with my mom. She is warm, welcoming, and treats her with the utmost respect and love. Knowing my mom is cared for by someone like her brings us so much peace.

Well it says I left a review 1 day ago which I didn’t I don’t know where that came from but this place is not a place for your loved one if you want them to be well taken care of. When my dad took my mom to the place to drop her off and there was no one was anywhere to be found to help them when they got there. No one was around to help my mom after she had been there and didn’t see anyone other than the one time the nurse came in to give her meds till the next morning and they didn’t the help she needed and proceeded to tell her she couldn’t go in to walk up the therapy stairs to practice for when she goes back home more than once and the stuff just doesn’t do what is needed for the patient or elderly that are there. My mom walked out of there after just being there for one day and the place called the police who showed up two days later say they said she was unsafe which she is not because we got it handle. She’s home and doing better. Please don’t leave the ones you want take care here they won’t be around much longer if you place them here because I know someone who passed after being there for two weeks and the stuff not doing there jobs. They stand around on there phone and bullshit with one another is how I seen it.

THIS REHAB CENTER SUCKS. THE PROFFESIONALISM IS BAD

My family and I are incredibly grateful for the care, compassion, and professionalism we have experienced at Skylake Post Acute in Thornton. During a very sensitive and challenging time for our family, the entire team has gone above and beyond to make sure my dad received not only excellent care, but also kindness, dignity, and support. A special thank you goes to all of the nurses in the Arbor Unit. Their attentiveness, patience, and genuine concern for my dad’s well-being have meant more to us than words can express. They consistently ensure that both my dad and our family felt supported every step of the way. We are especially grateful to Kyle, my dad’s social worker, who has been an incredible advocate and source of guidance throughout this process. Natalie, the Arbor Unit Manager, is an amazing communicator. She always made herself available, kept us informed, and demonstrated exceptional leadership and care for both residents and families. Her transparency and willingness to listen has made a tremendous difference during a stressful time. I would also like to recognize Jessica, the dietitian, who has been incredible to work with. Her knowledge, attentiveness, and genuine interest in my dad’s nutritional needs gave us confidence that he was receiving thoughtful, individualized care. Thank you all, truly!

I found Skylake PA to be a clean environment both outside and inside. I enjoyed the staff and felt they were helpful and very aware of what was going on in there unit. I struggled with the language barrier but was able to adjust and able to communicate well. I have had a positive experience from the admin staff to the doctors. Director of nursing is awesome and she has a wonderful staff of nurses. Jennifer one of the CNA’s cares about the residents and keeps a tight control of the things going on with them. I always was told the truth and given the facts. My mother went from resident to hospice and I appreciate how the two departments worked together. I liked the social worker department. They are in the know and active with families and residents. Crystal is genuine and her attention to resident needs is over the top. Things were not always perfect but this staff did all it could to fix a wrong or make things better.

Angelina is a good social worker, she meets all my needs and done everything I asked and if she can’t answer it she finds it out I’m glad to have her as my social worker. I have been at 3 different post acutes and Isela is by far the best cna I have had she is quick and always in a good mood and helps me when I need help, give her a raise! Olivia is another great CNA, she is fast and a team player. It makes my stay here safe!

We’ve had a very caring and kind experience so far at Skylake Post Acute. It was a very difficult decision to place my mom into memory care and the staff has all been so helpful. I feel my mother is safe and all her medical and dementia related needs are being met in a compassionate and caring manner. Chrystal Carpio, a case manager at the facility, has gone above and beyond to help us. She answers questions and concerns immediately and all with a smile! She has truly been a ray of light in stressful times. Donnell, Solomon, and Georgette have also gone out of their way to keep us informed of any concerns or issues that come up and always bend over backwards to help in any way possible. I would highly recommend this facility.

Our family has had a wonderful experience with Skylake Post Acute over the last three months. The facility is incredibly clean, and there is a vibrant, social atmosphere that keeps the residents active and engaged. The care team is exceptional—my mother is constantly raving about how attentive they are. A special shout-out to C.C., who has truly gone above and beyond to make her feel at home. Beyond the clinical care, the office staff was a lifesaver, guiding me through the complex process of applying for long-term Medicaid. I also appreciate the communication; their staff social worker coordinates care conferences with me every other month, ensuring all my mother’s needs are met. They are even helping coordinate transportation for her to update her State ID. To top it all off, my mom loves the food! It’s a huge comfort knowing she is in such capable and caring hands.

I cannot say enough, good things about the staff on the arbor unit at sky Lake. My mom was transferred from another facility due to an injury, the staff at sky Lake made the transition easy, took the stress off of our family, they welcomed my mom with open arms, compassion, and true caring. The nurses are very knowledgeable, attentive, and just on it. The CNA‘s are Detailed oriented, very caring, And, the whole team works great Together putting the residents first. Liana and Ashley Were phenomenal in helping make this transition happen. The social workers, case management, front receptionists, and including the salon Have been phenomenal as well. The facility is clean And provides a warm welcome feeling. I wish we had our mom here from the beginning as we watch her thrive in a very positive environment! Everyone at sky Lake has been absolutely amazing! Thank you for all you do!

Residents and employees lock like family in the building

My family moved our father to Skylake six months ago and could not be happier with the transition to their facility and the care he has been receiving. Ashley from admissions was a pleasure to work with and made our transition to the facility seamless. My father has been residing in the “Garden Unit” and we cannot say enough good things about the staff that attends to his needs. Chrystal and Donnell have been professional, approachable and their passion for caring for people is evident throughout every interaction. Solomon is one of the best nurses my dad has had, and we are so thankful for the care and compassion he provides. It is so refreshing to experience a staff, especially the CNAs, that treat their patients with kindness, dignity and respect. A BIG thank you to Jennifer and Heather for their kind hearts and great care they show our dad. Skylake is committed to not only providing a safe and caring environment for their patients, but also to providing a quality of life for people that is unfortunately often times overlooked. We could not be happier with our experience and have peace of mind that our dad is receiving the care he needs and deserves.

Skylake post Acute My family and I could not be more grateful for the care Chrystal provided during my dad’s recent stay for rehabilitation following stroke. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine warmth and respect. The entire staff—from the nurses and CNAs to the therapists and administrative team—went above and beyond to ensuremy dad’s comfortable, well-cared for, and motivated. The rehabilitation team was truly outstanding. They created a personalized plan that was challenging yet achievable. Their expertise and encouragement were key to the remarkable progress He made. Thanks to them, he was able to regain strength and confidence far quicker than we expected. Beyond the excellent medical and rehabilitative care, the staff created a compassionate and respectful environment. The facility was always clean, the meals were nutritious and tasty, and the residents seemed genuinely content and engaged in the activities provided. Knowing that my dad was in such capable and kind hands gave my family immense peace of mind.
